The Second Week of October 2011 with Girlchildcreativity Update by Mbizo Chirasha

We still continue to view the world we live  as a world that will lead us to success  only if we seek for the balanced creative opportunities between  girls and boys , thus we dedicate our days  for the development of the girl talent and creativity, in this  we have a wonderful diary as girlchildcreativity, a diary of events and activities that continue to realise the importance of developing  girlchild arts , creativity and talent.

Our   October Second week diary

1]  Tuesday 11 of october, Chiedza Child Care vistation by the producer[ Mbizo Chirasha] and the Outreach liason[ Rumbidzai Marangwanda]  for the preparation of the future events , activities and calendar for the centre , the Girlchildcreativity seek to continue empwering children at this centre with Arts and motivational interventions by providing facilitators omn writing , perfoming arts , music and others.

2] Wednsday the 12th of october, Girlchildcreativity spokesperson /producer will make a date with SpotFM presenter, veteran journalist Fungai Willard Masango, the producer will give a background and  a detailed  talk on the activities of Girlchildcreativity since its inception up to now.it will be a wonderful date and this is taking Girlcreativity project to the people through Radio Broadcasting.

3]  Thursday 13th of october, Girlchildcreativity present a  Food for thought seminar, on the role of creativity in developing the girlchild at the Bulawayo American Corner situated at Bulawayo Public Library ,its another way of decentralising girlchildcreativity activities to another communities and cities and continuous awareness of girls to realise their dreams and talents.

4]  Tuesday the 18th October , Publication of the social responsbility anthology on our facebook page, webblogs for the reading the public, the anthology will be displayed  on site before being published in a book form, the anthology is a result of the Verses Againist Hunger ,masterclass workshop held by Girlchildcreativity on the 29th of september at the bookcafe in 2011, the good thing such writings were improptu.

16 Days of Activism 2016 with Tanaka Bandera!

Editorial note- While we are in the month of November, the month that is believed as the sacred month  by many  of the African Descent. We also advocate for the stop and end in Gender Based Violence mostly known as GBV in Zimbabwe. GirlChildCreativity publishes a poem by Tanaka Bandera titled MY TIME IS UP Tanaka is  a Theatre and Arts Student at the Midlands State University. The poem is pregnant with emotion as young poet stands her  ground  in unmasking the chauvinistic  behaviour  of the  other gender. The poet declares   militantly in some of her verses that   enough is enough. We continue to give young girls space and voice as we also continue to organize  literary events that  continue to put the aspirations of girls and young women in the forefront.
